It’s Microgreen Time Again


Are you craving fresh produce now that the veggie garden season is winding down? While you may still have kale coming on strong, it’s time to start thinking about growing nutrient rich microgreens and sprouts. Microgreens are the young leaves of many different greens and herbs. They are planted indoors (or outdoors until mid-late October) and can be harvested in about 15 days!

Sprouts are back! I remember in my youth we all grew sprouts on our kitchen counters in canning jars. Once again, people are discovering how easy and delicious sprouts can be. We are not just talking about mung beans. We now carry seeds of many interesting sprouts.
